With a team of psychiatrists ranging in availability and specialty, including Perinatal, Child and Adolescent, Youth, Old Age and General Adult, Call to Mind considers all referrals. All of our psychiatrists offer bulk-billed assessments and follow-up appointments to review management plans, as well as ongoing private consultations.

Dr Sasha Roytowski - MRCPsych, FRANZCP

Sasha originally trained in South Africa, where she worked as a consultant psychiatrist in a variety of settings.  Since moving to Australia, she has worked with Forensic and community patients, with special interests in Addiction Psychiatry, Perinatal Psychiatry and Refugee Mental Health.

Dr Adnan Younus - FRANZCP, MBBS 

Dr Younus is a psychiatrist with specialist qualifications in general adult psychiatry. Dr Younus provides outpatient assessment and treatment for depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, adult ADHD, PTSD, OCD and personality disorders. Dr Younus has a particular interest in Youth mental health especially early psychosis intervention and first episode presentation of various psychiatric symptoms/disorders in youth.  He works in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District as a staff specialist and has a strong interest in rural mental health.

Dr Jan-Paul Kwasik - FRANZCP, MBBS, MPM

Jan is a recently qualified psychiatrist with a wealth of experience in a range of contexts gained during his training in Melbourne, remote Queensland and overseas in London and the UK. Jan’s work in Far North Queensland’s Cape York and the Torres Strait Islands has inspired him to work in telepsychiatry to bring more services to populations in need. Since becoming a Fellow of the College of Psychiatrists in 2017, Jan has worked in regional areas of Tasmania and New South Wales, where telehealth assessments were an integral part of his work. Jan has special interests in perinatal mental health, neuropsychiatry, and in transcultural psychiatry particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health. Jan is passionate about helping patients and families understand their condition and to make informed choices about biological, psychological and social interventions, in order to improve quality of life, as well as symptom reduction.

Dr Marshall Watson - MBBS, FRANZCP

Dr Watson, is an Aboriginal (Noongar) Man and Psychiatrist, he has  subspecialty qualifications in both Child and Adolescent and Forensic Psychiatry. His interest include psychotic disorders, anxiety and mod insiders, loss, grief and trauma and also working with youth who display problematic behaviours.   He takes a  holistic view to mental health matters and social and emotional wellbeing that is comprehensive and patient centred.

Dr Dona Biswas - MBBS, MD, FRANZCP

Dr. Dona Biswas is a general adult psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. She has expertise in the management of a wide variety of mental health issues like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorder, adult ADHD and dual diagnosis with substance use disorders. She has a special interest in perinatal psychiatry, mood and anxiety disorders, complex PTSD and adult ADHD and has several publications to her credit. She offers comprehensive and patient-centred care within a bio-psychosocial framework and is well-versed in the management of patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Dr Anjith Divakaran 
- FRANZCP, MD

Dr Anjith Divakaran is a fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand college of Psychiatrists passionate about patient-centred care. Anjith is an adult psychiatrist with a special interest in anxiety and depressive disorders. He also treats people with a wide range of other problems such as Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Anjith completed his Doctor of medicine (MD) in psychiatry from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India in 2010 and subsequently worked as assistant professor in India.

He completed his Australian specialist psychiatric training at Northern hospital (Northwestern Mental Health), Melbourne in 2015. Later he worked with Eastern health, Melbourne before setting up private practice in 2017. Anjith is has a strong academic focus as reflected by his published research papers and the Royal college of Psychiatrist’s scientific committee award from 2013.

Dr Ben Chia - FRANZCP, MPsych, MBBS

Ben is an experienced psychiatrist in both public and private mental health settings, and is a member of the Rural Doctors Association of Australia. With a solo private practice in Melbourne’s western suburbs, Ben found access to quality mental health care a major issue even in the inner city. This prompted Ben to start Call to Mind with colleague Dave Carmody. Ben is a general psychiatrist addressing any mental health problem with a genuine and open-minded approach. He has particular interest in youth mental health but sees patients across their life span.

Dr Ramakrishna Bhavanishankar - MBBS, MRCPsych, FRANZCP

A consultant psychiatirst who has trained in the United Kingdom and Australia. Currently working as a staff specialist for a community mental health team in treatment and recovery. He works closely with GP’s to provide a realistic, quality outcome for his patients. His areas of interest include early intervention, mood disorders, psychosis and PTSD and he is an assessor for permanent impairment of work capacity. Fluently speaks English and Kannada.

Dr Raji Guterres - MBBS, FRANZCP

Dr Raji Guterres is a Private Psychiatrist born and trained in Adelaide. She has a passion for mental health, wanting to help people become the best version of themselves. She has great experience in the field of workers compensation, and can help individuals navigate through challenging and confusing obstacles.
